I'm a Maine Picker Scouring Northern New England in Search of Fresh-to-Market Antique and Vintage Items. Many Categories to Browse as We are interested in just about everything! Up for Sale is a Rare C. 1880 ORIGINAL PAINT Water Pump by Goulds Mfg in Seneca Falls, NY.

I immediately thought Bilge Pump when I First found it in Central New Hampshire but after staring at this Original Paint for the last several days, thinking Fire Pump because of the Color and Stripes. Also, most Bilge Pumps suck up the water from the bottom or close to the base and this pump has the lowest input/output at 10. Of Course, many 19th Century Items had great utility use and/or multi purposes. Very Clear and Legible Stamping in the Brass for the Company Name and Town.

Weighs 9 lbs 8 ozs. 26"H with handle down and 33 1/4 with handle up, Footprint is 5" x 4 and the Pump will stand on it's own as seen in all photos.
