Akron 1 1/2 Solid Brass All Pirpose Nozzle Fire Hose Vintage Industrial Military Merchant Marine. Based on my limited research I have it listed as an Akron model number 2069. I cant read any of the numbers that are on it. More of a collectors piece anyway. Still has original green paint on it.

Has a sort of chew mark scrape on one side of lever. The following info was shared with us by a helpful ebayer. That nozzle is a United States Coast Guard approved combination straight stream and spray type that is accepted for use as a required item on merchant vessels subject to inspection by the US Coast Guard. It is designed to be effective even when passing water with suspended solids in it that has been pumped from over the side.

The Navy all purpose nozzle and the AN or Army and Navy all purpose nozzles both have a finer spray or fog nozzle in the changeable nozzle port in the front of the nozzle's body.
