Wow, this is an exciting piece of history. For sale is a vintage Eddy Valve Co. Fire Hydrant two piece barrel short upper barrel; lower w/o O. Rib 5" Valve opening 72" bury Depth. This hydrant with the unique Ornate Star design is hard to find. There is also the word "OPEN" with an arrow pointing. On the lower barrel there is an ornate star with the following written inside: Eddy Valve Co. B 72 5 Waterford, NY. This item shows signs of wear and age from being outside for a long period of time. This includes: rust, scratches, chips, and paint cracking.

Please reference photos for a physical description of item. Sale does not include engine hoist shown in photos. Item probably weighs 300 lbs or more. Barrel details: Nozzle chain attachment is via the later bolt on bracket. 2 styles of logos exist as in the photos at left: one with V.
