Regular inspection and maintenance will keep this nozzle in optimal working condition. For use with water and firefighting foam, operate the shutoff valve slowly to prevent water hammer. Note: Minimum pressure of 100 PSI is required for optimal flow and reach.

Open and close the shut-off valve slowly to avoid water hammer.

Not for use on electrical fires. Do not overtighten the nozzle onto the hose connection.

Do not alter the nozzle in any way. For use with water and firefighting foam only. Open and close the shut-off slowly. To Open: Pull the handle toward the inlet.

To Close: Push the handle toward the outlet. To change the spray pattern: Rotate the bumper. Clockwise for straight stream, counterclockwise for wide fog. To change the flow setting: Slowly rotate the index flow control ring to the desired setting. Adjust the fire engine to provide 100 PSI at the nozzle inlet.

To flush the nozzle: Rotate the index flow control ring to the "FLUSH" setting. The nozzle should be inspected before and after each use to ensure it is in good operating condition. If you encounter the following issues, take the nozzle out of service and repair it. Controls that are inoperable or difficult to operate.

Periodically flush the nozzle with clean water to remove dirt and debris. Regularly check the baffle screw to ensure it is tight.
