Vintage Akron Akro Ball Fire NozzlesFrom Hawaii Sugar Mill Fire Dept (Pair)

  

I got these from a retired Wailua Sugar Mill firefighter (who said he got them decades earlier when the Mill got new equipment). I talked to a product guy at Akron (yes, the company still exists) and he thinks these are from sometime in the 1940s; unfortunately, Akron did not keep records of each model so the castings could not help us figure out the exact date. I have not polished these to preserve the vintage patina. I have seen them polished and they are fantastic (they are solid brass and quite heavy). See photos as they are part of the description.
