VTG Akron Turbojet Fire Hose Nozzle Assembly Marked GFD Over 16 Lbs
Vintage Akron Turbojet fire nozzle assembly. It looks like it's chrome plated over brass.
It weighs 16 1/2 pounds and is 16 tall. Please see pictures for more details.I know nothing about fire equipment, so I will not be able to answer specific questions about it, unfortunately. It has not been cleaned nor tested. I've been told it may be from the 1960's or 70's, but I'm not certain of that. The black handles have some paint markings on them as shown in the pictures, and some of the the black color from the handles transfers onto your hands.
