This 16 inch antique firefighter fire hose nozzle has an interesting bit of history to it, with more to be discovered! The nozzle features several markings. It is marked Boston Belting Co. It is also marked MFD.

Most notably, however, the nozzle is stamped with the following inscription: Stolen from State St. A location in Boston, Massachusetts. Evidently whoever stole this object was proud enough of their spoils to have it engraved!

The fire nozzle is in good condition with patina and wear consistent with age and use. The nozzle measures 16" long, with the wide threaded opening measuring 3.125" and the skinny opening measuring 1.25.
