Water drained through when it was opened and held under a faucet. When turned one direction, the water should sprinkle.
When turned the other direction the water should have a steady stream flow, ss. I haven't figured how to turn it to sprinkle or ss. It is set in the middle. I cleaned part of the brass in order to read the writing, but didn't have time to do all.The fire hose nozzle is from our family's farm, but there has been no large 2 hose or hydrant to connect with, in my memory. A volunteer fire department is two miles away, so it is essentially a vintage/antique collector's item. Weight is 7 pounds before packing.
