Fire Hose Wye Gated (1) 1.5 NH fem Inlet x (2) 1.5 NH male out chrome brass

  

This is a brass fire hose wye that allows one hose line to be divided into two separate streams. Each inlet has a ball valve to allow one side to be turned off/on without interrupting the other one. This way a hose line can be added or removed while water is still flowing on the other side from a charged hose line. Inlet - (1) 1.5 Inch NH/NST Swivel Female (rocker lug). Outlet - (2) Male 1.5 Inch NH/NST (with gated ball valves for each).

Material - Brass/chrome plated brass. Made in USA by Elkhart Brass Mfg Co. Approx size 13" width X 6" length X 5 high (with valve handles in open position). Weight - approx 8 lbs.

This wye is 35 years old, but ready to go back in service as a working appliance, or would make a great addition to your antique/collector fire engine or fire appliance collection. For the collectors, I bought this surplus from Los Angeles County FD several years ago. It is stamped with the shop number 49792 which was a 1988 KME pumper that ran as Engine 24 in Palmdale, CA, as documented on the LAC apparatus shop roster printout (see last photo).
