Vintage Adjustable Steel Fire Hose Nozzle

  
Heavy-duty adjustable fire hose nozzle with ribbed grip, selector lever, and internal baffle plate. The nozzle offers settings for "FOG" and S. (straight stream), designed to provide firefighters with quick adaptability in directing water flow. Marked 275 near the head. This style of nozzle was widely used by municipal fire departments from the 1940s onward, when adjustable fog/stream technology became standard in firefighting equipment.

Constructed from a combination of aluminum and brass alloys, it was built to withstand high-pressure use in active service. Shows surface wear, paint loss, and oxidation consistent with long-term field use. Internal plate intact; lever and adjustment mechanism move with resistance.
