This is a very early piece of Fire Fighting history. The info I received when I got this from the original collector was that it came from a Horse-Drawn Fire Engine and before WW1. It has a 1910 date on it with maker, BC Co.
Measures about 20" long and 11" tall. Separate cast iron Wall Bracket is 12 long with 2 pegs that the Rack sits on and allows it to fully swivel in both directions. It weighs about 11 pounds..
Old red paint on it. Great visual appeal with diamond-shaped lattice work in the casting.
