Antique 2 1/2 in. Leather wrapped fire nozzle play pipe with leather handles

  

Leather wrapped fire nozzle play pipe with leather handles, brass lever shut off and straight tip nozzle. The leather looks original with a few blemishes on the shaft, it stands almost 22 in. & is 12 wide at the handles. The base is stamped R F D.

It looks like a C. CALLAHAN FIRE NOZZLE FROM THE 1800's the lever shut is very difficult to move. It would make a great display piece.
