Antique Fire Truck Reel And Hose
Antique fire truck hose and reel. The estate from which this item came advised us that this was mounted on an antique or vintage fire truck. We have not uncoiled the hose so we do not know the length.
We believe the reel itself is cast iron and steel. We do not know if the hose is original to the reel. Beyond that, its history is unknown. This is a used, old item demonstrating signs of use including some surface rust, paint fade and chipping and some hose damage including gouges, scratches and cracking in the outer layer. This item cannot be tested and cannot be used.
It is appropriate for display only. The reel is about three feet in length. This item is very heavy and requires 3 to 4 very strong people to lift it without power equipment. We recommend power equipment to lift or move it.
