This is a very unusual dual function hose stream / fog applicator nozzle. With a stamped patent number of 1,996,884 which corresponds to a. Patent granted on April 9, 1935 to J.

Schellin for a Fog Producing. Fog nozzle, a small diameter stream nozzle, a dual valve. With on/off lever and what looks to be a reducing coupling on the end. It was manufactured by Akron Brass Mfg.

I have no way to test the nozzle but the parts screw/unscrew and move. The rubber coating on the grip is deteriorated. I couldn't find any references or pictures of this particular nozzle except. Item weighs over eleven pounds.
