Vintage Fire Hose Wye Gated (1) 2.5 NH fem Inlet x (2) 1.5 NH male out brass

  
This is a brass fire hose wye that allows one 2.5-in. Hose line to be divided into two separate 1.5-in streams.

Each inlet has a ball valve to allow one side to be turned off/on without interrupting the other one. This way a hose line can be added or removed while water is still flowing on the other side from a charged hose line. Inlet - (1) 2.5 Inch NH/NST Swivel Female (rocker lug). Outlet - (2) Male 1.5 Inch NH/NST (with ball valves for each).

Material - Brass/chrome plated brass. Made in USA by Akron Brass Mfg Co.

Approx size 13" width X 9" length X 7 high (with valve handles in open position). Weight - approx 13 lbs. This wye is 56 years old, but ready to go back in service as a working appliance, or would make a great addition to your antique/collector fire engine or fire appliance collection. For the collectors, I bought this surplus from Orange County FD about 25 years ago.
